List What You are Grateful For.

  • Love
  • My family… My Aunt in Cali who is so strong and not afraid to stand up for herself and her family and is awesome… My Mom who is also so strong, and amazing, and supportive (she is a super hero)… My dad who has worked incredibly hard his whole life… My uncle who is like a big brother to me… My siblings… Yeah, I got pretty stinkin’ blessed in the family department and I am so grateful for all of them.
  • My incredible, patient, handsome, loving boyfriend; who tries to always make me smile, and understands the bad days with the whole diabetes business… I really sometimes can’t believe that God has blessed me with him.
  • For great doctors who listen to me, and don’t try to push a bunch of medications and stuff.

Today: Wednesday is My Sunday.

Today is my Sunday! Tomorrow begins my nice, short little work week!  Today I got to spend the morning having breakfast with my wonderful boyfriend – being silly, and just enjoying each other’s company – it’s the best.  Great start to a beautiful, rainy, and downright chilly, fall “Sunday” for yours truly.

I also embarked up on a new adventure this afternoon: Becoming a Domestic goddess!!!!… Okay, maybe not a domestic goddess; but baby steps, right?!

Today  was the day I learned how to knit a scarf!  If you don’t know me – I’m not exactly the most “crafty” woman in my family. My sister and grandmother are brilliant at it all.   So, this is pretty awesome. And I’m excited!!!!  Now the question remains: Fringe, or no fringe…..? Hmmm… We shall see… (see left: the beginnings of my new project!)
